Rap Run Falls (Toby Falls)

The Rapp Run Falls, otherwise known as the Toby Falls, are a hidden gem just a 30-minute drive from Cherry Run Camp. While these lesser-known waterfalls are set in a picturesque gorge, it does require some bushwhacking to get to them. Learn more here.

American Golf Hall of Fame

The American Golf Hall of Fame, located in Foxburg, is a 20-minute drive from Cherry Run Camp. It is America’s oldest continually operating golf course, built in 1887 by local cricket player Joseph Mickle Fox. For lovers of golf or history, this is a must-see. Learn more here.

Armstrong Trails

The Armstrong Trails currently has 52.5 miles of trail on the eastern bank of the Allegheny River and northern bank of the Kiskiminetas River. You can access this trail in Rimersburg, just a 5-minute drive away from Cherry Run Camp.

Brady’s Bend Overlook

Brady’s Bend Overlook, a quick 12-minute drive from Cherry Run Camp, offers an amazing view over the Allegheny River. Autumn Leaf Festival (TM)

The Autumn Leaf Festival is an internationally award-winning, nine-day festival held every October in downtown Clarion, PA, alongside Clarion University’s homecoming events. With activities for all ages, this vibral festival offers something for every visitor to enjoy.

Sunny B’s Sunflower Field, located in Know, PA (a 25-minute drive from Cherry Run Camp), is typically open from late August through early September. However, make sure to check their Facebook page for current dates for the season. With 4 acres of sunflowers, a pond, and a vintage 1949 farm truck, you will be sure to find the perfect backdrop. Cut your own flowers $1 each or a dozen for $10.

A Christmas Present Craft Show is a yearly event occurring the first Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in November. It’s located in Rimersburg, just a 5-minute drive from Cherry Run Camp, and it features all handmade wood crafts, wreaths, jewelry, crocheting, sewing, home decor, gifts, canned goods, baked goods, homemade meals and more all over town!
